Water, fruits, vegetables, grains, meats and fish, eggs, poultry, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids, fats, nuts and seeds are some of the essential elements for human beings to grow, heal and thrive. Adequate sleep, laughter, intimacy, physical touch, exercise, meditation, work and play are also vital aspects to our physical and emotional nourishment. When one or more of these elements is inadequate or deficient, the body as a whole cannot fully thrive and express overall health and well-being.
